What changedAdded a section on lab report recognition: what is sent to OpenAI, when, and for how long.

This page explains what data Pet Tracker Space collects and how it is used. The app was built to help you track your pets' health — not to collect more data than necessary.

What data we collect

Your email address (for your account), and the pet information you choose to enter: names, breeds, weight, vet visits, vaccinations, medication courses, symptoms, lab results and lab report files, and any notes or photos you add.

Where your data is stored

Records are stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and served through Cloudflare (hosting and network). Both act as data processors. There are no advertising or analytics cookies — the only cookies are the strictly necessary ones that keep you signed in.

Lab report recognition

When you tap “Recognize form”, the lab report — a photo, PDF or spreadsheet — is sent to OpenAI to read the results. This happens only with your consent, which you can withdraw in the family settings. The whole content of the file is sent, including anything printed on it, such as the clinic's name. OpenAI does not use this data to train its models and keeps it for no more than 30 days, then deletes it. Nothing is sent unless you start it.

We don't sell or share your data

Your data is never sold to third parties and never shared for advertising or marketing. It leaves the app only when you act: a lab report for recognition (see above), or a summary for your vet via “Show your vet”.

Your data, your choice

You can export your data at any time (PDF summary or calendar file), or delete your account and all its data via the user menu → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
